In this installment of factors influencing the success of a web page talk about:
- Recommendation on the use of animation (Flash, javascript, ...) in a web page.
Animations in web pages has become very fashionable in recent years especially with the Web 2.0, due to the large occurrence of effects and features offered by the language Mainly Flash and Javascript.
But it is good to use these animations on our website?
Well the answer is yes, but in moderation, including the differences between Flash and Javascript, there is one that we are interested in commenting, indexing by Google. Flash is not indexable by Google, in turn Javascript itself, and what does this mean when Google visits our website to add to its search engine (googleblot) what it does is copy all of our scheme web page with all our texts, and from this position us Internet depending on the density of our keywords found in broad strokes.
As if our entire site is programmed in Flash, Google can not read any text that appears on our website, so that our position will be severely damaged and have a web busy but no one will find on the internet, unless already previously known.
However, Javascript does not happen, all text displayed on the website itself that is indexable by Google, so we have animations as well be read by Google, however not recommend the abuse of this programming language, why despite being indexable, may complicate the task of reading by the robot google (googlebot) and this does not suit us at all.
